MOSCOW, Idaho – Josh Jordan has been hired with the Idaho Vandals athletic department as a Senior Associate Athletic Director of Development, and will begin in his new role on March 30.
In his role, Jordan will be working with Vandal Athletics leadership based on the Moscow campus and will be helping to lead the way in the ever-changing landscape of collegiate athletics. He will lead fundraising efforts for Vandal Athletics, keeping in mind Idaho's core values, and will help with long-term success planning and Idaho's future endeavors.
He previously worked at Washington State University, where he served as an Assistant Athletic Director for Development. During his time across the Palouse, Jordan provided oversight of the Cougar Athletic Fund and was in charge of managing a national portfolio of high-capacity donors. He oversaw fundraising initiatives and the strengthening of donor engagement, securing many of the biggest philanthropic commitments in WSU history. Some of those significant commitments went to major stadium enhancements. His experience with relationship building and innovation has built strong partnerships with donors and coaches alike, helping to advance the university and improve the student-athlete experience.
Jordan has developed a reputation as a servant leader and someone who is capable of building high-performing teams in modern-day college athletics. His collaborative nature and his strong ties to the northwest make him a valuable piece in the Vandal Family.
