MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho women's tennis team will travel to Phoenix, Arizona for the 2026 Big Sky Championships, marking the culmination of their spring season. The tournament will take place April 23-April 25 at the Phoenix Tennis Center.
 
Over the course of the tournament, the matches will begin at 8:00 a.m. local time and extend into the morning until the matches are completed. Idaho's first match will be against Eastern Washington on Thursday, April 23 at 8 a.m..

Throughout the spring, Idaho demonstrated resilience in both singles and doubles play, building momentum against conference opponents and preparing for the intensity of tournament competition. The Vandals enter the tournament with a 10-10 overall record and a 4-4 conference record.

Idaho's season was highlighted by strong individual performances and improved doubles chemistry, both of which are critical factors in postseason success. The Vandals also faced several of the conference's top programs during the regular season, providing valuable experience against high-level competition.

Overall, Idaho aims to build on its regular-season progress and make a competitive run in the bracket. With postseason experience and continued improvement throughout the season, the Vandals could challenge higher-seeded teams and position themselves for a deep run in the conference tournament.
