MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho women's soccer has announced its signing class for the 2026 season. The signing class includes eight standout freshmen Kalina Barbosa, Mirabella Bickham, Sophia Jackson, Kailiey King, Quinn Mueller, Maya Powell, Camryn Schaan, and Paisley Yamashita.
"I am very excited about the 2026 class." Head Coach Celevenger says. "Our 2026 freshman class brings a rare combination of talent and character. They have the ability to make an immediate impact on the field from day one, just as importantly, they will strengthen the culture of our program through their leadership, work ethic, and commitment to the team."
Meet Kalina Barbosa
Barbosa comes to Idaho with a strong defensive background during her years at Chiawana high school in Pasco, Washington. Not only does she have a strong leadership background having served as team captain for both high school and club teams, but her background is also flooded with defensive honors including 2025 conference Defensive Player of the Year, 3x First-Team all-conference selection, and First Team All-State.
Meet Mirabella Bickham
Bickham is a defender from Moorpark, California, who helped lead her high school to CIF Southern Section and CIF State championships. Her time at Moorpark High School earned her multiple All-League honors, Defensive MVP awards and an Athlete of the Year recognition. She also competed in the ECNL and earned ODP State Team honors. During her time with the Vandals, Kalina plans to study Exercise, Sport, and Health Sciences.
Meet Sophia Jackson
Jackson, a wing from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, joins the Vandals after being ranked 60th nationally in the FTF Canada rankings and 7th among 2026 wingers. Jackson led Sir Charles Tupper Secondary School to consecutive VSSAA championships as a captain.
Meet Kailiey King
Kailiey King, a defender out of Mission Viejo, CA adds depth to the Vandals 2026 signing class following a successful club and prep career where she earned 1st Team All-League honors and Defensive MVP.
Meet Quinn Mueller
Mueller, a midfielder from Liberty Lake, Washington, earned Greater Spokane League Offensive MVP honors after leading her conference in goals and points. In addition to Offensive MVP, Mueller earned selection to the Girls Academy National Selection Game, and she also earned selection to the Girls Academy National Selection Game and 2025-26 Greater Spokane League Scholar Athlete of the Year.
Meet Maya Powell
Powell is a promising goalkeeper from San Diego, California. She was a team captain and all-league performer at Point Loma High School. During her senior season (2025) she posted a 0.857 goals-against average and was a four-year Honor Roll student.
Meet Camryn Schaan
Schaan, a forward from Wilsonville, Oregon, was a 3x First Team All-State selection, 2x State Finals MVP and 2024-25 Oregon 5A Player of the Year. Schaan finished off her high school career after leading Wilsonville High School to three state championships, ending the season with 84 goals and 44 assists.
Meet Paisley Yamashita
Yamashita, a midfielder and forward from Honolulu, Hawai'i, earned First Team All-ILH honors three times at 'Iolani School. She didn't stop there; she helped Hawai'i Rush capture the Surf Cup Best of the Best championship in 2025.
The eight signees will join the Vandals as members of the Class of 2030 and bring a combination of championship experience, leadership and academic achievement to the Vandals.
