MOSCOW, Idaho - The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) published its annual Honors Court awards for the 2025-26 academic year, recognizing both the teams and individuals across all levels of college hoops who stood out amongst the NCAA and NAIA as the top performers in their respective classrooms.
Of the nearly 1,300 four-year institutions that sponsor men's basketball, Idaho was among the 400+ named to the prestigious list, the third straight such honor for
Alex Pribble as Idaho's head coach. The Vandals have been named an Honors Court team four times in program history, with three of them coming in Pribble's three years at the helm.
"It's always great to make the NABC honors court," said the head coach. "We want our young men to be true student-athletes and to push themselves towards excellence in the classroom and on the court. Last year's team was a tremendous example of that."
A tremendous example indeed, as Vandal Hoops recorded a program-record 3.43 team GPA in the fall semester, with 15 players earning a 3.0 or higher. They would follow that up with an impressive 3.21 mark in the spring, balancing their studies with what was only one of the greatest seasons in program history, capped off by a dominant postseason run in the Big Sky
Tournament that earned the league's bid to March Madness.
Alongside earning the team honor, nine Idaho players from the 25-26 season earned individual marks from the NABC, being recognized as big-time contributors to the program's academic success.
Aidan Sevilla,
Biko Johnson,
Brody Rowbury,
Isaiah Brickner,
Kristian Gonzalez,
Miles Klapper,
Seth Joba,
Titus Yearout, and
Tyler Linhardt were each named to the Honors Court individually. With more than half of the roster on the players' list, Idaho more than deserved its third consecutive nomination as a team.
