Biography

2010 Indoor: McFaddan finished 15th in the 5000m with a time of 19:05.94 and 16th in the 3000m with a time of 10:47.68 at the WAC Indoor Championships. She ran a career-best 5:28.19 in the mile at the Vandal Collegiate, a season-best 10:41.27 in the 3000m at the Runner's Soul Open and a season-best 18:42.72 in the 5000m at the Husky Classic.

2010 Outdoor: McFaddan scored two points in the 10,000m at the WAC Outdoor Championships, as she finished seventh with a time of 38:35.12. She also finished 15th in the 5000m at 18:45.43. Both times were season bests.

2009 Cross Country: McFaddan was Idaho's fifth finisher at the WAC Cross Country Championships, as she came in 27th overall with a time of 20:43.9. She was Idaho's top finisher at the Clash of the Inland Northwest and the Inland Northwest Cross Country Challenge, with third-place finishes in each. She also finished 31st at the Sundodger Invitational, 69th at the Charles Bowles Invitational and 110th at the NCAA West Regional.

2008-09: Took 21st at the WAC Cross Country Championships with a 5k time of 19:15.40 and took 125th at the NCAA West Regional Championships for Cross Country.

2007-08: McFaddan earned first-team all-WAC recognition with a seventh-place finish at the WAC Cross Country Championships and helped the Vandal women earn their second team cross country title in the past three seasons. She was Idaho's top finisher at the NCAA West Regional with a finish of 54th. She earned her second career first-team all-WAC honors at the WAC Indoor Championships, as she took third in the 5,000m run with a time of 17:59.16 and also finished 10th in the 3,000m with a time of 10:30.29. She controlled the race nearly from start to finish in the women's 10,000m at the WAC Outdoor Championships and won her first career individual WAC title with a time of 38:41.91. She also finished 18th in the women's 5,000m at the meet. She was honored after the season as an ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA All-District Second-Team selection.

2006-07: McFaddan was Idaho’s second finisher at the WAC Cross Country Championships, as she came in 16th and helped the women finish fourth. She earned second-team all-WAC honors with a sixth-place finish in the 5,000m run at the WAC Indoor Championships and also finished ninth in the 3,000m run. She finished seventh in the 10,000m and 12th in the 5,000m at the WAC Outdoor Championships.

Personal: She is the daughter of Matt and Linda McFaddan. She was born Sept. 14, 1987 at Twin Falls, Idaho. She was a four-sport athlete at Post Falls High School in volleyball, basketball, cross country and track & field. She was a member of National Honor Society and a Presidential Scholar. She is majoring in Elementary Education at Idaho.
