2011 Cross Country: Tonnemaker took 56th at the Sundodger Invitational with a time of 27:03.19 … finished 68th with a time of 21:03.4 at the Inland Northwest Cross Country Classic … Fall WAC All-Academic honoree.

2011 Outdoor: Tonnemaker competed in the middle distance for Idaho … ran a career-best 4:28.74 in an 11th-place finish in the 1500m at the Cougar Invitational on Apr. 23 … ran an outdoor best of 2:05.15 in the 800m at the WAR IV dual meet on Apr. 9 … WAC Spring All-Academic honoree.

2011 Indoor: Tonnemaker competed in the 800m for Idaho as a junior ... posted a career-best 2:02.78 in the event at the WSU Open II on Feb. 19

2010 Cross Country: Tonnemaker finished 175th overall and was Idaho's seventh finisher at the NCAA West Region Championships with a time of 35:32.28 on the 10k course ... posted a season-opening finish of 49th at the All-Idaho Cup with a time of 28:30.28 ... WAC Fall All-Academic honoree

2008-2009: Competed in XC and track and field.

High School: Tonnemaker was a three-sport athlete for the Knights of Royal High School. He competed in cross country, wrestling and track and field. As a wrestler, he placed eighth at the Washington 1A state tournament and helped Royal take third as a team. He took 38th at the 2007 Washington 1A state cross country meet and helped Royal take the team title, then took 11th at the 2008 state track and field meet in the 1600m with a time of 4:38.06 and helped Royal finish fifth. 

Personal: He is the son of Kole and Sonia Tonnemaker. He was born July 31, 1989 at Moses Lake, Wash. He has one brother, Ethan. His father, Kole, competed in track and field at Idaho from 1978-81 and was an NCAA qualifier and is the school-record holder in the 10,000m. His intended major at Idaho is Agricultural Ecology.
