Biography

2015 Outdoor: Matejcek set two career-bests in the outdoor season… He took an eleventh place finish at the 10th Annual Sam Adams Classic in the 400m dash with a career-best and team-best time of 53.70… Matejcek also set a career best in the 800m with a time of 2:01.46 at the WSU Cougar Invitational.

2015 Indoor: In his first season as a Vandal, Matejcek notched a top-ten finish in the 800m at the Idaho Vandal Indoor Invitational, coming in eighth with a time of 2:05.29

High School: Metejcek participated in cross country, track and field, volleyball and swimming at Deer Valley High School…was the cross country and track and field team captain.  

Personal: Son of Laura and the late Jim Matejcek… has one sister, Sarah.
