MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho Track & Field program is thrilled to announce the signing of Hannah Ringel of Se­dona Red Rock High School in Sedona, Ariz.
 
Ringel is an Arizona State Champion in the shot put, having placed first as both a sophomore and junior. She placed fourth in the state championships in the shot put as a fresh­man. She also throws the discus and has qualified for the state championships all three seasons and placed as high as seventh as a junior at the state meet.
 
She has personal bests of 40'10" in the shot put and 120' 8" in the discus. She is a four-time Yavapai County Champion between the shot put and discus. Ringel is also a very accomplished basketball player, playing all four seasons for Sedona Red Rock.
 
Ringel is an exceptional student and plans to study biochemistry at the University of Idaho.
