MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho Track & Field program is thrilled to announce the signing of Hannah Ringel of Sedona Red Rock High School in Sedona, Ariz.
Ringel is an Arizona State Champion in the shot put, having placed first as both a sophomore and junior. She placed fourth in the state championships in the shot put as a freshman. She also throws the discus and has qualified for the state championships all three seasons and placed as high as seventh as a junior at the state meet.
She has personal bests of 40'10" in the shot put and 120' 8" in the discus. She is a four-time Yavapai County Champion between the shot put and discus. Ringel is also a very accomplished basketball player, playing all four seasons for Sedona Red Rock.
Ringel is an exceptional student and plans to study biochemistry at the University of Idaho.
