MOSCOW, Idaho - Idaho football closes out the non-conference schedule with a road game at Oregon State. The game is the second power-five opponent in as many weeks. The meeting with Indiana was the first in program history, but this will be the 44th game in the series history and the 27th in Corvallis. It is however the first meeting since 2016.
ABOUT IDAHO: The Vandals are 1-1 on the season after a 68-0 win over Simon Fraser in the season opener and a 56-14 loss at Indiana.
Hayden Hatten leads all receivers with 200 yards and three touchdowns through two games. The Idaho defense shutout Simon Fraser in the opener, but special teams woes caught up with UI in the second game.
ABOUT OREGON STATE: The Beavers are also 1-1 on the season with a win over Hawaii 45-27 and their season-opening 30-21 road loss at Purdue. The Beavers will are led by former Vandal assistant coach Jonathan Smith.

Tre Walker proved why he's the best in the Big Sky last season. He led the conference with 13.5 tackles per game in his four outings and went on to earn five All-America honors. Walker was also a finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award, given annually to the top defensive player in FCS. His preseason accolades got better, as he was named the Big Sky Conference Preseason MVP and has been a consistent First Team Preseason All-America selection.
