ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Western Athletic Conference has named Emily Mack its Female Diver of the Week following her stellar weekend at home versus Grand Canyon and Simon Fraser. This is Mack's first career conference weekly honor. 

Mack posted a first-place finish in the 3-meter dive with a score of 288.60 on day one of action to help lead Idaho past Grand Canyon (146-135) and Simon Fraser (226-52). The day-one sweep secured Idaho's first 3-0 start to the regular season since 2009-10.

The senior from Spring, Texas carried the momentum to day two with a career-best 282.45 in the one-meter dive for another first-place finish.

The Vandal divers travel south to Texas this weekend for the Houston Diving Invitational, Oct. 13-14,  hosted by the University of Houston Cougars.
