MOSCOW, Idaho -- The Idaho swim & dive team posted a 167.5-132.5 victory against conference foe Northern Colorado on Saturday afternoon at the Idaho Swim Center. The Vandals had 10 first-place finishers, and 16 other Vandals place in the top three to help lead Idaho to a 2-0 start to the season. 
Idaho sophomore diver 
Lauren Wierschke scored the first points for Idaho, posting a third-place finish with a mark of 228.90 in the 3-meter diving event. Wierschke also posted a second-place finish in the 1-meter diving event with a score of 258.23. 
Sophomore 
Ginger Kiefer tallied a team-high three first-place victories on the day. Kiefer dominated in the 1000-yard freestyle, taking first with a time of 10:26.73.
Kiefer placed first in the 200-yard backstroke (2:01.64) and the 200-yard IM (2:04.35), while also helping post a second-place finish (3:31.92) in the 400-yard freestyle relay with the team consisting of 
Isabelle Borke, 
Madelynn Butler, and 
Grace Ruble. 
Idaho's 200-yard medley relay team of 
Katy Foley, 
Rylie Moxham, Ruble, and 
Ella Haskins finished in front at 1:45.94.
Ruble posted a first-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 56.55 after clocking in a third-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly (2:10.50). 
Foley came away with a win in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 57.46 while taking second place in the 200-yard backstroke (2:05.04). Butler posted a first-place victory in the 100-yard freestyle with a mark of 53.20. 
Idaho went 1-2-3 in the 50-yard freestyle with Butler hitting the wall first, clocking in a time of 24.38 followed by Haskins (24.48) and Borke (24.60). Borke also posted a first-place finish on the day in the 200-yard freestyle posting a time of 1:54.55. 
Freshman 
Courtney Crawford posted her second win of the season, coming in first in the 200-yard breaststroke, clocking in at 2:23.07. She also finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:05.97) and 200-yard IM (2:09.99), while 
Holly Lenarz posted a second-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle.
