Back-to-Back Home Meets for Swim and Dive on Tap

MOSCOW, Idaho - Idaho Swim and Dive has had a strong start to the 25-26 season.

The Vandals are 2-1 in dual meets, record books have already seen some alterations, and multiple distance swimmers finished in the top half of the MPSF Open Water Championships in Long Beach. This weekend, swim and dive has one added comfort that they hadn't yet seen this season: back-to-back meets in our home pool.

On Friday, Northern Arizona will be in town for a Halloween matchup in the UI Swim Center. The Lumberjacks have had a slower start to the year in terms of total competitions, coming off of two intrasquad meets and an All-State contest that featured Arizona, Arizona State, and Grand Canyon, in which they dropped three close-scoring contests but received praise from their coaching staff for setting early personal bests both between the lanes and from the board.

The first event on Friday, the 3M dive, will commence at 4:45 PM PT.

The following day, on Nov. 1, Idaho will open up the month by hosting the University of Denver in the facility. The Pioneers have been busy over the last two weeks, competing in five total dual meets since Oct. 17. They picked up a decisive win over Colorado Mesa, 220-82, last Friday, and have dropped contests to the Mountain West's Colorado State and Wyoming by less than 20 combined points.

The meet will once again commence with the 3M Dive, at 2:00 PM PT.
