MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho senior midfielder
Annika Farley was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-West Region Third Team, released by the organization this week.
Farley played and started in all 20 games for the Vandals and was second on the team with four goals during the 2025 season. She also set the tone for the defense that racked up nine shutouts in 20 games and allowed just over a goal a game.
"I am grateful that the coaches in our region recognized Annika for this well-deserved honor," head coach
Jeremy Clevenger said. "She is a special player and has had a great career at Idaho. Her play and leadership were key to our success over the last four seasons, and I am happy that she can cap her time in Moscow with this honor."
Farley, a captain for the Vandals, scored 14 goals in her Vandal career and added four assists while playing in 77 games and starting in 74 during her four years in Moscow and led the Vandals to the Big Sky tournament all four years, including trips to the finals in three seasons and the semifinal in 2025.
The Vandals finished 6-5-9 in 2025 before falling to Montana in a shootout in the Big Sky Semifinals in Missoula.
She becomes just the second Vandal player all time to earn All-Region honors for multiple seasons, joining Chelsea Small who earned Second Team honors in 2010 and Third Team honors in 2011 and 2012.
