FULL ACADEMIC ALL-WAC TEAMS

MOSCOW, Idaho - The Idaho Vandal Swimming and Diving Teams will be making the transition from one conference to another in time for the 2025-26 season. 

In their last year in the WAC, UI was determined to make an impact, and they did just that. Not only did the Vandals have one of their best seasons in the water in recent years, but they took care of business in the classroom as well. 

On Tuesday, the conference released its annual all-academic teams for the winter season. Twenty-two Vandals were placed on the list, the most of any men's or women's swimming and diving squad and the only such team to feature 20+ athletes.

To qualify for the academic all-conference team, an athlete must have completed at least one full year (two-semesters) of coursework at their institution and maintain a 3.2 cumulative GPA.

The twenty-two nominations is the most for Idaho in the WAC since the 2020-21 season, when twenty-five Vandals placed on the list. This season, nine Vandals went back-to-back, earning placements on the 2023-24 and 2024-25 teams.
