MOSCOW, Idaho - After some time to rest and recover from a strong first half of the 2025-26 campaign, Idaho Swim and Dive is set to commence the business end of the year with just five total meets, two versus the same opponent, standing between the program and its first ever MPSF Championship meet. 

The Vandals will have nine total days of competition in the month of January before some time to get healthy and right before heading to Pharr, TX for the conference meet and potential NCAA Championships in March. 

To get the new year started, the Idaho divers head to Los Angeles for the Bruin Diving Invitational, hosted by UCLA. They will be joined by several teams including UNLV, Utah, Iowa, USC, San Diego State, Hawaii, NAU, and Cal Baptist.

The divers will compete in the 1M prelims starting at 10:30 AM PT on Friday, Jan. 9, with the finalists from this event advancing to the finals later in the day. The same schedule will follow on Saturday with the 3M, and the event will conclude on Sunday for the Vandal women with the platform. Saige Anderson, Maya Salvitti, Amelia Ward, and Lauren Wierschke will represent the Brave and Bold in the City of Angels, hoping to continue what has been a strong season from the divers thus far.
