MOSCOW, Idaho  The Idaho Men's Tennis team concluded its 2025-26 season against Montana State at the Big Sky Conference Tournament.

Looking to get payback after their previous matchup with the Bobcats, the Vandals entered doubles play with high energy. The Brave and Bold went serve for serve with MSU throughout the exchange. Chetanna Amadike and Gabriel Moroder were in full swing, putting their doubles All-Conference talent on display and winning the contest, 6-2.

On court twoMikolaj Lis and Noe De Col also gave the Cats a run for their money. The two teams traded game for game early to move the score to 3-3. The Vandals caught fire from there and never looked back, taking the next three for a final of 6-3. This clinched the doubles point for Idaho and moved along to singles play.

In the solo matches, Valentine Glasl was hungry for a Vandal Victory on court six. The UI freshman found himself down a break in the first set, two games to nil. He stood firm and went on to win eight straight games to take the first set and the lead in the second set. Glasl rode the momentum from there to clinch the contest in two sets.

Despite these efforts, the Vandals were unable to proceed to the next round of the tournament, falling to Montana State 4-2. However, after the match, the Vandals expressed their gratitude to all the Vandal Family supporters who were there. They went on to have one final team meeting as the brothers they had become this season. They exchanged heartfelt words, memories, and most of all, gratitude, as they reflected on the journey they had been on over the past year. In the end, Chetanna Amadike gave his final speech as the Idaho Men's Tennis captain. And for one last time, Amadike led his final team breakdown, concluding his college career and the 2025-26 tennis season.

The team is extremely grateful for all the support they received this season. From the most recent Vandal Giving Day to the support during matches to the weekly community clinics, they are grateful for all the Vandal Family they have throughout the community.

Thank you, Vandal Family. And always remember, Go, Vandals!
