Biography

2010 Indoor: Michener qualified for the finals in the 60m at the WAC Indoor Championships with the sixth-fastest time, but false-started in the final. He finished seventh in the 200m with a time of 22.15 and helped the 4x400m relay team earn second-team all-WAC honors with a third-place finish. He ran an indoor career-best 6.87 in the 60m at the WSU Open and had a season best of 22.06 in the 200m.

2010 Outdoor: Michener earned first-team all-WAC honors with a third-place finish in the 100m at the WAC Outdoor Championships in a personal-best time of 10.61. He also took seventh in the 200m with a time of 21.73 and ran the fourth leg of Idaho's fourth-place 4x100m relay. He won the Vandal Jamboree with a career-best 21.53 in the 200m.

2008: Michener redshirted the indoor season and missed the outdoor season with injury. 

2007: Michener finished 11th in the 60m at the WAC Indoor Championships with a time of 7.03. He also set new personal bests of 6.94 in the 60m and 21.81 in the 200m during the season. He redshirted the outdoor season.

2006: Michener finished 16th at the WAC Indoor Championships in the 60m and came in 12th in the 100m at the WAC Outdoor Championships.

Personal: He is the son of Steve and Sherry Michener. He was born May 24, 1987 at Portland, Ore. He has one brother, Lukas, and two sisters, Chelsea and Makayla. He was the 2005 Oregon 6A state champion in the 100m and 200m and was the 2005 Barlow High School Athlete of the Year.
