ST. GEORGE, Utah – It's a big weekend for Idaho women's golf, with a trip down to Utah for two competitions. The Vandals will open with a single day match against Boise State on Saturday, then take on the field at the BYU at Entrada Classic beginning on Monday.
The BYU tournament will take place over two days, with the Vandals playing 36 holes on Monday and closing with a single round on Tuesday. Live results will be available through GolfStat.
The Vandals will be competing with six this weekend.
Valeria Patino, Idaho's top finisher at the Gold Rush in California two weeks ago, will lead the way as the Vandals take on a competitive field in Utah. Also competing next week will be
Laura Gerner,
Eddie Hsu,
Vicky Tsai and
Danika Palm, as well as
Grace Frazier as an individual.
The field in Utah is a great one. BYU, Boise State, Iowa, North Texas, Northern Illinois, Princeton, Santa Clara, Utah Valley and Wyoming will be present, as well as fellow Big Sky opponents Portland State and Southern Utah.
