FULL GAME NOTES
MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho women's soccer team travels to Eastern Washington for the final two regular season games of the season. The Vandals will play the Eagles on Friday, April 2, with kickoff set for 3 p.m. The two teams will meet again at noon on Sunday, April 4.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES (3-2-2, 2-0-2 BSC): EWU started out Big Sky play with a pair of 3-1 wins over Portland State. Most recently, the Eagles had two scoreless draws with Sacramento State before a bye week last weekend. The team scored 1.71 goals per game, led by Maddie Morgan and Grace Terrill who each have scored twice this year. Taylor Matheny has three assists to lead the squad. Goalkeeper Kelsee Winston has played all but 15 minutes for the Eagles, tallying a 1.10 GAA and .818 save percentage. She has made 36 saves in 655 minutes.
SCOUTING THE VANDALS (4-4-0, 4-2-0): Idaho most recently defeated Sacramento State in a pair of games. The Vandals won, 2-1, on Friday, before taking Sunday's match, 2-0.
Kaysie Bruce leads the Vandals with four goals on the year while
Hannah Alfaro and
Alyssa Peters both have two assists to lead the squad. Goalkeeper
Avrie Fox has a 1.13 GAA, making 23 saves in 714 minutes.
SERIES HISTORY: Idaho is 13-12-1 in the all-time series with Eastern Washington. The Vandals fell, 3-1, last year in Cheney.
LAST TIME OUT
Idaho swept the season series with Sacramento State. The Vandals won, 2-1, on Friday. Both teams scored on penalty kicks, before
Myah Merino scored in the 89th minute to secure the victory. The Vandals took Sunday's match, 2-0.
Margo Schoesler scored her second goal of the weekend, while
Sidney Schmidt iced the game with a 77th minute goal.
Avrie Fox earned both wins in goal, making eight saves in 180 scoreless minutes.
PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Avrie Fox was named the Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week on March 29. She had two wins in goal against Sacramento State. She made eight saves and the only goal she allowed was a penalty.
Kaysie Bruce was named the Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week on March 22. She scored four goals over the weekend, including a hat trick on Sunday. She had the game winner in both games. She leads the conference with four goals. Bruce recorded the first hat trick for a Vandal player since Bridget Daley scored three in a 4-0 win over the Vikings in 2018 (Sept. 21).
GOALS ON GOALS
The Vandals 14 goals scored this season are the most in the conference. The team has scored at least two goals in four straight games. The last time Idaho scored multiple goals in four consecutive games was 2017 (Sept. 30-Oct. 9).
Idaho scored five goals against Portland State in back-to-back games. The last time the Vandals scored at least five goals in consecutive games was in 2017 when they defeated Memphis, 5-4, and then Nevada, 6-0.
MOVING ON UP
Myah Merino's three goals this year puts her at 13 career goals. She now sits in a tie for seventh place on the Vandals' all-time scoring list.
