2007-08: Potratz took 28th at the WAC Cross Country Championships and helped the men finish second as a team. He finished seventh in the mile run at the WAC Indoor Championships with a personal-best time of 4:18.08 and ran a 9:24.63 in the 3,000m to finish 17th. He took eighth in the 1,500m run at the WAC Outdoor Championships with a time of 4:08.05 and seventh in the 3,000m steeplechase with a time of 10:31.63. He ran a personal-best 9:35.00 in the steeplechase at the VS. Athletics Beach Invitational.
2006-07: Potratz finished 48th at the WAC Cross Country Championships to help the men’s team finish third and also finished ninth in the 1500m at the WAC Outdoor Championships.
2005-06: Potratz competed in cross country for Idaho and redshirted the indoor and outdoor track and field seasons.
Personal: He is the son of Steven and Ellen Potratz. He was born March 1, 1987, at Moscow, Idaho. He has one brother and two sisters. He participated in football, basketball, tennis, cross country and track and field at Moscow High School. He is majoring in Resource Recreation and Tourism at Idaho.
