Biography

2008: Godsey competed in the pole vault for Idaho during her freshman campaign. She cleared a personal-best 3.35m (10-11.75) at the McDonald's Open during the indoor season, and finished 11th at the WAC Indoor Championships. During the outdoor season, she cleared a personal-best 3.40m (11-1.75) at the WAC Outdoor Championships, where she finished 16th. 

Personal: She is the daughter of Eddie and Shannon Godsey. She was born May 13, 1989 at Boise, Idaho. She has two siblings. She is majoring in Sport Science at Idaho. She was the 2007 Idaho 5A state champion in the pole vault and the 2006 runner-up. She was an eight-time state qualifier in the pole vault, long jump and triple jump for Centennial High School.
