2012 Outdoor: Covington set a career best in the long jump and was a WAC scorer in the event as a junior … finished seventh in the long jump at the WAC Championships with a mark of 18-7.25 (5.67m) to score two team points … won the long jump at the Cougar Indoor on April 21 with a mark of 18-1.75 (5.53m) and won the Duane Hartman Invitational one week later with an identical mark … also won the long jump in her season opener with a 17-8.25 (5.39m) into a strong negative wind at the Buc Scoring Invitational on March 24.
2012 Indoor: Covington scored five points and earned one
Second-Team All-WAC honor as a junior … tied her career best and finished fifth
in the long jump at the WAC Indoor Championships with a leap of 18-9 (5.71m)
for All-WAC honors … also scored one point in an eighth-place finish in the
indoor pentathlon with a career-best score of 3,219 … finished sixth in her
first career indoor pentathlon at the Cougar Indoor on Jan. 27 with a score of
3,053 … set a career best of 18-9 (5.71m) in the long jump after finishing second
in her flight at the Husky Classic on Feb. 11 … ran a career-best 9.33 in the
60m hurdles for 10th place at the Vandal Indoor on Feb. 3.

2010 Indoor: Covington earned second-team all-WAC honors at the WAC Indoor Championships after soaring a season-best 18-5.25 (5.62m) in the long jump and taking fifth. She also competed in the triple jump, but fouled on all three preliminary attempts. She won the long jump at the Vandal Collegiate after leaping 18-0.25 (5.49m).
2010 Outdoor: Covington set an outdoor career best in the long jump at the Beach Invitational by going 18-4.5 (5.60m) and finishing seventh overall.
Personal: She is the daughter of Clarence and Kristi Covington. She was born April 18, 1990 at Boise, Idaho. She has two brothers, Kasen and Khyle. Her major at Idaho is Biochemistry.
