2008: Dittmer burst onto the Western Athletic Conference scene as a true freshman ... He earned first-team All-WAC honors with a second-place finish in the 60m hurdles at the WAC Indoor Championships with a time of 8.12 ... He ran a personal-best 7.97 in a second-place finish at the UW Husky Classic in February ... His indoor personal best is just one one-hundredth of one second off the Idaho school record and is the fastest ever by an Idaho freshman ... He ran his best races during the outdoor season ... He ran a 13.98 in the 110m hurdles at the WAC Championships and won by nearly three-tenths of a second ... He was honored by the WAC’s coaches as the WAC Men’s Outdoor Freshman of the Year ... He ran a season-best 13.90 and finished seventh at the NCAA West Regional, which fell just short of earning him a trip to the NCAA Championships ... His time of 13.90 is an Idaho freshman record and ranks second overall in school history.

Club Team: Competed for MTV Hanstedt in the hurdles and the long jump ... was a two-time German Junior National Champion and a German Vice Champion in the 110m hurdles ... finished 8th at the European U23 Championships in the 110m hurdles in 2007  ... finished the 2007 season ranked sixth in Germany and 11th among European Under-23 competitors in the 110m hurdles with a personal-best 13.78 in the event
