2012 Outdoor: Colle was an NCAA qualifier and key cog in Idaho’s team title with All-WAC honors in three different events and 18 points in his first year with the program … finished 23rd in the 5000m at the NCAA West Preliminary with a time of 14:37.29 … earned a pair of First-Team All-WAC honors at the WAC Outdoor Championships with a second-place finish in the 1500m at 3:53.44 and a third-place tally in the 3000m steeplechase at 9:20.50 … added a Second-Team All-WAC honor in the 5000m in his third distance event in two days with a 15:05.21 … finished 11th in the 5000m at the Mt. SAC Relays on April 20 with a time of 14:05.03, which moved him to second all-time at Idaho in the event … ran a career-best 3:47.86 and finished eighth in his heat of the 1500m at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational on April 29 to move into ninth all-time at Idaho … a two-time WAC Track Athlete of the Week during the season … Spring WAC All-Academic honoree.
2012 Indoor: Colle won his first career WAC gold and scored
in three different events for Idaho in his first season … provided one of the
meet’s most dramatic moments as the anchor leg of Idaho’s distance medley relay
… after being passed with 100 meters remaining, he came back on the final
stretch and out-leaned a Utah State runner at the finish line to win the relay
title with a time of 9:56.87 … added a pair of Second-Team All-WAC honors with
a fourth-place finish in the mile (4:18.91) and a sixth-place finish in the
3000m (8:39.85) … broke the Idaho school record in the 3000m at the UW Final
Qualifier on March 3 with a time of 8:05.39.
2011 Cross Country: Colle was Idaho’s second finisher at the NCAA West Region Cross Country Championships after taking 75th overall with a time of 30:59 … Finished 21st overall at the WAC Championships with a time of 26:45.3 … Named the Verizon WAC Cross Country Athlete of the Week after finishing as Idaho’s top scorer and placing 14th overall (24:06.45) at the Dellinger Invitational … finished 13th overall in the men’s senior race in the Canadian Cross Country Championships with a time of 34:02 … took fourth at the Sundodger Invitational with a time of 24:18.02 … was the second Vandal finisher at the Inland Northwest Cross Country Classic after taking 10th overall with a time of 18:56.5 …Took 20th with a time of 24:26.6 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational.
Concordia University: Colle was an All-Provincial honoree in cross country at Concordia University (Quebec) … he competed for the Fleur de Lys club team at Montreal, Quebec for six seasons, during which he was a Quebec provincial champion … took 24th at the 2009 Canadian Track and Field Championships in the 1500m (3:56.18) … finished the 2011 season ranked 12th in Canada in the 3000m indoors (8:20.85) and 14th nationally in the 5000m (14:15.32) and 22nd in the 1500m (3:47.10) outdoors … his 2010 bests of 14:28.65 in the 5000m and 3:47.06 in the 1500m ranked 13th and 19th, respectively, in Canada.
