Biography

2010 Cross Country: Lunstrum helped Idaho win the men's team title in the season-opening All-Idaho Cup with a time of 29:05.31 and 55th overall finish

2010 Indoor: Lunstrum competed in the distance events for Idaho in 2010. He had a personal best of 4:28.95 in the mile run at the Vandal Collegiate and a best of 9:30.60 in the 3000m at the Cougar Indoor.

2010 Outdoor: Lunstrum competed in three distance events during the 2010 outdoor season. He ran bests of 2:07.43 in the 800m at the Vandal Jamboree, 4:10.76 at the Whitworth Buc Invitational and 10:01.80 in the 3000m steeplechase at the Cougar Invitational.

2009 Cross Country: Lunstrum finished 45th at the WAC Cross Country Championships as the Idaho men took fifth in the team standings. He also finished 40th in the Inland Northwest Cross Country Challenge and 42nd at the Clash of the Inland Northwest.

High School: Lunstrum was a two-time Idaho 4A state champion in the 1600m and a six-time Idaho state medalist in track and field and cross country. As a senior, he won the 1600m title with a time of 4:23.14 and took third in the 3200m with a 9:39.33 time to help lead Columbia High School to a fourth-place finish. As a junior, he helped lead Columbia to a third-place state finish after winning the 1600m title (4:28.89) and taking runner-up honors in the 3200m (9:48.66). As a sophomore, he finished 11th in the 3200m with a time of 10:33.89. He was a three-time state qualifier in cross country, with consecutive top-five finishes in his junior and senior seasons. He took fourth overall in 2008, fifth in 2007 and 48th in 2006. He was also honored as an all-conference scholar and a Wildcat Scholar-Athlete.

Personal: He is the son of William and Theresa Lunstrum. He has six siblings, Amy, Liam, Molly, Katy, Colin and Anson. His intended major at Idaho is Architecture.
