2012 Outdoor: Lutjens competed in the throws before a hip
injury cut her season short … finished third in the discus at the Buc Scoring
Invitational on March 24 with a throw of 129-8 (39.53m) … took fifth in the
discus at the Sam Adams Classic on March 31 with a mark of 127-0 (38.72m).
2012 Indoor: Lutjens missed the 2012 indoor season with a hip injury.
2011 Outdoor: Lutjens competed in the throws in her first season as a Vandal … finished ninth in the discus throw at the WAC Championships with a career-best toss of 138-5 (42.20m) … posted top finish of the year when she took second in the discus at the Whitworth Buc Scoring Invitational at 133-9 (40.77m) … also posted a best of 110-11 (33.82m) in the hammer throw at the meet … WAC Spring All-Academic honoree.
2011 Indoor: Lutjens competed in the throws in her first season a Vandal ... hit a career-best 35-10 (10.92m) in the shot put at the Cougar Indoor on Jan. 22 and a best of 39-3.25 (11.97m) in the 20-lb. weight throw at the WSU Open II on Feb. 18.
Treasure Valley CC: Lutjens was a two-sport athlete at Treasure Valley Community College ... lettered in both track and field and volleyball for the Chukars ... was an all-academic team honoree both years ... as a freshman, threw career bests of 34-11.75 (10.66m) in the shot put and 123-2 (37.54m) in the discus
