2012 Indoor: Dalton won three WAC golds in his senior season
at Idaho … took the men’s 800m crown at the WAC Indoor Championships with a
time of 1:52.54 … added a pair of WAC titles in the relays as the second leg of
the first-place distance medley relay that posted a 9:56.87 and ran the second
leg of Idaho’s WAC title-clinching 4x400m relay that won with a time of 3:14.62
… ran a career-best 1:50.52 in the 800m at the UW Final Qualifier on March 3.
2011 Outdoor: Dalton competed in the middle distance for
Idaho as a senior … finished ninth in the 800m at the WAC Championships with a
time of 1:52.54 that was just .06 seconds outside finals qualification … ran a
season-best 1:51.85 in the 800m at the Mt. SAC Relays … took seventh in the
800m at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational with a time of 1:52.86 … ran a
season-best 50.06 in the 400m at the Stanford Invitational … WAC Spring

2011 Indoor: Dalton redshirted the 2011 indoor season.
2010 Outdoor: Dalton came up just short of a repeat title in the 800m at the WAC Outdoor Championships, as he took second in the event with a personal-best time of 1:50.43. He also ran a leg of the fifth-place 4x400m relay team. His 49.65 in the 400m at the WAR 3 dual meet was the fastest of his outdoor career.
2010 Indoor: Dalton earned first-team all-WAC accolades after finishing second in the 800m with a time of 1:53.74 at the WAC Indoor Championships. He also earned second-team all-WAC after running a leg of Idaho's third-place 4x400m relay team and ran a leg of the team's fourth-place distance medley relay. During the season, he ran a career-best time of 49.64 in the 400m at the Runner's Soul Open.
2009 Outdoor: Dalton claimed his first career WAC title with a thrilling come-from-behind victory in the final steps of the 800m at the WAC Outdoor Championships with a time of 1:52.00. Dalton earned an NCAA West Regional bid by virtue of his WAC title and ran a career-best 1:50.96 and finished 17th overall.
2009 Indoor: Dalton earned first-team all-WAC honors with a third-place finish in the 800m at the WAC Indoor Championships. Dalton posted the top qualifying time of 1:55.40, then ran a 1:54.59 in the final round for his first career first-team all-WAC honor. He also ran the final leg of Idaho's third-place distance medley relay.
2008: Dalton earned second-team all-WAC honors in the 800m as a freshman, with a fifth-place finish in the 800m at the WAC Outdoor Championships. He also finished ninth in the 800m at the WAC Indoor meet.
Personal: He is the son of Craig and Sandra Dalton. He has three sisters, Teresa, Nicole and Jennifer, and four brothers, Andrew, Jonathon, Trent and Collin. He was a seven-time Idaho 1A state champion in track & field, as well as a letter winner in basketball, football and cross country. He is majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Idaho.
