A talented athlete and gifted student, Craig Juntunen co-captained the Vandal football team in 1977 and earned a pair of letters from 1976-77. The team’s offensive MVP during the 1977 season, Juntunen completed 52.7 percent of his passes for 770 yards and three touchdowns. In 1976, Juntunen led the team to a 7-4 record and a second-place finish in the Big Sky. He went on to play two seasons in the Canadian Football League.
