Mark Schlereth led the Vandals to three Big Sky titles in his four seasons at Idaho. Schlereth anchored the Vandal offensive line on a team that went a combined 38-11 and won Big Sky championships in 1985, 1987 and 1988. His 1988 squad advanced all the way to the NCAA I-AA semifinals and he earned second-team All-America recognition. He was selected in the 10th round of the 1989 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins and played 12 seasons, during which he was a two-time Pro Bowl selection and a three-time Super Bowl Champion. He was the first native Alaskan to play in the NFL. Since 2002, he has been a popular ESPN analyst for SportsCenter, College Football Live and NFL Live.
