Hall of Fame
The Vandal men’s swimming team didn’t need to look very far to find Chet Hall, one of the first great swimmers in Idaho history. The Moscow, Idaho, native stormed onto the Idaho scene, earning four letters from 1954-58 and leaving the school as the Idaho record holder in the 200-yard breast stroke. In 1958, Hall was voted team captain and was also voted Most Inspirational Swimmer by his teammates. Hall kept his connection with swimming and with Idaho by serving as the swim coach for the Vandals
