Willette White was a top women’s basketball player from 1979-81. For her career, she averaged 11.5 points per game, grabbed 169 steals and dished out 356 assists to lead the Vandal women to a combined 64-22 record. She led the team to back-to-back NCWSA Division II Northwest Region titles in 1980 and 1981 with a combined 23-3 record in Northwest Empire League Games. Both the 1980 and 1981 teams also qualified for the AIAW Division II national tournament. She was a two-time AIAW All-Region Team honoree and a Second Team AIAW All-American in 1981. When she graduated, she had career records for scoring average, steals, and assists, as well as single-season marks for steals and assists, and single-game steals and assists records.
